The client had an existing website that had been designed several years ago and was not responsive on devices such as tablets / mobiles.  A replacement website was required that would be more engaging to the residents by providing easily updatable events and content, with the ability for external vistors to add news and events (subject to moderation).  There was also a requirement for a planning application area of the website, highlighting in progress planning applications through intergation with Google Maps.

The website was built using WordPress, incorporating events and custom plugins for planning application management. Through use of MailChimp, a weekly newsletter was designed that automatically took feeds from WordPress to build an email containing events and news for that week.
