For some time the client had been using MailChimp to send regular product updates and marketing emails to customers. With the introduction of GDPR it was necessary to run a number of campaigns to obtain positive opt-in from customers.

Multiple campaigns were run, following up on customers who had not responded to earlier campaigns. A simple email form was designed, allowing the customer to opt-in (or opt-out) through a single click of a button.

Segmentation was set up to ensure that future Marketing campaigns only target those who have given consent.

In addition to the above, work was also performed around cookie and privacy policies.
